These messages are issued by the SCP selftest. A selftest may be executed for a variety of reasons. Determining the success or failure of the selftest will depend upon a number of issues which may include:
- the reasons why the selftest was executed
- an examination of the following messages
- an examination of other SCP messages
- an examination of the //SCISCIM file.
SDS1390T $P1: $P2/$P3/$P4 Selftest started.
SDS1391T $P1: $P2/$P3/$P4 Selftest listener. SCIMMID=$P5. SCIMDATA=”$P6″.
This message requires not only SELFTEST=YES but DEBUG=YES as well.
SDS1398T $P1: $P2/$P3/$P4 Selftest idled after $P5 messages.
This message does not necessarily indicate an error. Selftest must be able to cause timeouts so that timeout detection may be tested.
SDS1399T $P1: $P2/$P3/$P4 Selftest ended.
