SMR0400D SMF Miner: obtained class_name L=decimal_integer, A=hex_storage_address, RT=decimal_integer, ST=decimal_integer
Explanation: This message is issued only when debug messages are enabled. This message is issued for each SMF record transferred from the SMF exit into a work buffer in preparation for passing it to the requestor. It shows the buffer’s class_name, its decimal_integer length in bytes (L=), its hex_storage_address (A=), the SMF record type (RT=) and the subtype (ST=).

SMR0401E SMF Miner: unable to obtain buffer for SMF record length=decimal_integer, type=decimal_integer, subtype=decimal_integer
Explanation: This message is issued when the SMF Miner is unable to obtain a work buffer with which it can pass the collected SMF record to the requestor. The collected SMF record is discarded.
Action: This may indicate that the agents’ region size is too small, but it is more likely that some other storage is not being released properly in the agent. To provide diagnostic information in the log, issue the console command F jobname,SSMSTAT where jobname is the agent’s jobname, followed by F jobname,SVCD. The output of SSMSTAT will appear in the SCIINF DD. Then shutdown the agent and save the job log. Contact SDS Technical Support for assistance.
